THE PROBLEM
Mudula Primary Hospital serves over 600,000 people across the Tembaro Special Woreda. An unreliable grid and costly diesel backup left critical devices at risk, while unstable cooling spoiled medicines and power surges regularly burned equipment.
THE SOLUTION
We designed and installed a 73.80 kWp solar system with 104.66 kWh of battery storage across 351 m² of rooftop. The system covers just over half of annual demand, stabilizes voltage for sensitive equipment, and keeps medicine storage at consistent temperatures.

THE PROBLEM
Karat Primary Hospital treats over 7,000 patients each month for a catchment of 700,000 people in southern Ethiopia. Grid outages left the hospital dependent on diesel backup, while unstable power damaged devices and spoiled vaccines.
THE SOLUTION
A 128.00 kWp solar system with 122.80 kWh of battery storage now covers more than half of annual electricity demand. Incubators, surgical equipment, and vaccine refrigeration run on stable power.

THE PROBLEM
Idlib University Hospital treats over 7,000 patients each month for a catchment of roughly 2.9 million people. Incubators, ventilators, and vaccine refrigeration relied on grid power and diesel backup, costing around €12,000 a month.
THE SOLUTION
We structured a blended grant and loan financing model and installed a 128.00 kWp solar system across 575 m² of rooftop, targeting the hospital’s most critical wards and generating net savings from day one.

Empowering Africa
THE PROBLEM
Anaka General Hospital is the main referral center for its region in northern Uganda, treating over 1,000 patients a day with a single ambulance covering the whole area. Grid outages and voltage spikes have burned specialist equipment and spoiled vaccines.
THE SOLUTION
We are installing a 64.80 kWp solar system with a 122.80 kWh battery across 288 m² of rooftop, covering roughly 71% of annual demand. Electric motorbikes for patient transport will cut operating costs further.

Al Manhaj, BILD hilft e.V. „Ein Herz für Kinder“
THE PROBLEM
Al Manhaj runs four schools and a disability center in Tripoli, serving children who are mostly Syrian refugees or from low-income Lebanese and Palestinian families. Lebanon’s grid delivers only a few hours of power a day, pushing schools onto expensive diesel and forcing cancelled classes.
THE SOLUTION
We designed, financed, and installed four off-grid solar systems with battery backup, sized to each rooftop and load profile. Removing diesel dependency freed close to $26,400 per school each year for tuition support and higher enrolment.
